What is an SEO expert?
Someone who spends their time thinking and testing how search engines crawl and index websites. We then apply these learnings to help our clients rank higher on search engine phrases that will drive them the most business. We also work to increase “Authority” of our client’s sites so that their brand dominates their competition in visibility.
Can I do SEO myself?
Absolutely! In fact, if you are writing new and original content for your own site regularly, you’re doing better than most. Plenty of YouTube videos out there too with the basics – all of which are pretty simple. It’s when you want to take your online strategy more seriously that you should hire an SEO consultant.
Can you guarantee results?
Absolutely not! We do not work for Google or any search engine, so we are not privy to exact specifics or rules. That said, we have over a decade of testing, communications with search engines, and more – so we stick to the best practices and focus on helping search engines index us properly instead of trying to fool and trick them. Consistent SEO best practices are the closest thing you have to a guarantee in SEO marketing.

What’s so great about you, man?
Well, nothing specific. I’ve worked at Citigroup as a VP of Marketing, a Search Engine Marketing expert at Musician’s Friend/Guitar Center, and have been successfully helping dozens of clients in my 10+ years of business. My career is now in it’s third decade! But more than that, I have a Masters degree in Ethical Philosophy and spend an inordinate amount of time caring about ethics in marketing, morality and trust in client-vendor relationships, and generally put more time and effort into less flashy things like risk management, brand cohesion, transparency, accountability, and leaning hard into a company’s ethics in how they market themselves.
