Opportunities for Housing, Resources & Assistance – better known as OHRA – is a Southern Oregon nonprofit transforming lives by helping people move from crisis to stability. Based in Ashland, OHRA provides resource navigation, housing support, and essential services such as a year-round low-barrier shelter and a mobile shower and laundry trailer.
What makes OHRA unique is its Resource Navigation model – a compassionate, hands-on approach where trained navigators help guests overcome systemic barriers by connecting them with housing, employment, healthcare, and financial resources. OHRA’s work is grounded in dignity and empowerment, ensuring individuals and families gain the tools they need for long-term self-sufficiency.
Through community partnerships, volunteer engagement, and donor support, OHRA builds stronger families and a more resilient community – one neighbor at a time.
